Authentic Leadership: Leading With Who You Are

Register Today!

You don’t want to miss this year’s ACE Women’s Network State Chairs’ Leadership Conference, March 9-10 in Philadelphia. This is a conference like no other – an opportunity to join women leaders in higher education to encourage and inspire one another. Two days of courageous conversations, interactive experiences, forging connections, and mutual learning during what has become a watershed moment in our country for issues facing women. 2019 will be a critical year for the ACE Women’s Network to join together.

Now more than ever, we need women to lead, and this conference is designed to position you to do just that with authenticity. Session topics will leave you with action items to take charge in your career, in your community, and in your state network:

  • Presidential Perspectives on Authentic Leadership
  • The Power of Career Mapping: How to Be Intentional about Your Career Path and Clearly Defining Your Values as a Leader
  • Best Practices in Leading State Networks
  • A Federal Relations Update from Terry Hartle, ACE’s Senior Vice President of Government and Public Affairs

Registration for the State Chairs’ Leadership Conference provides you with access to both the ACE Women’s Network Reception and the ACE Women’s Leadership Dinner on March 9!

The 2019 ACE State Network Leadership Award will be presented during the ACE Women’s Network Reception, a time for connecting and relaxing after sessions adjourn on March 9. Later that evening the 2019 Donna Shavlik Award will be presented during the ACE Women’s Leadership Dinner. This year’s keynote speaker for the dinner is Teresa Younger, president and CEO of the Ms. Foundation for Women, the oldest women’s foundation in the United States.

This year’s conference and dinner are sure to inspire you, your institutional representatives, and executive board! Join us as we celebrate and motivate each other on our leadership journeys.

About the ACE Women’s Network

The ACE Women’s Network supports women interested in pursuing leadership opportunities in higher education by facilitating connections, enabling local leadership training, and sharing best practices, particularly at the State Chairs’ Annual Conference every March. Each state network is led by a state chair, who works with institutional representatives and at least one presidential sponsor, to develop programs that identify, develop, encourage, advance, connect, and support women in higher education careers within that state. The state networks are linked through their connection with ACE and the ACE Women’s Network Executive Council, a group of senior women executives who serve as both mentors and advisers to ACE regarding overall ACE Women’s Network functions.
