What Next? A Leadership Seminar for Presidents Preparing for Transition
August 6–8, 2008, San Diego, CA
Facilitated by recently retired presidents, this seminar will focus on personal and institutional transitions for presidents considering retirement within the next five years.
CAO/CFO Collaboration: Building a More Effective Partnership
August 13–15, 2008
Co-sponsored by ACE and NACUBO, this workshop is intended to help CAOs and CFOs understand each other's roles, improve communication, and strengthen their effectiveness as members of the leadership team.
Higher Education in Brief: A Seminar for Leaders New to Colleges and Universities

Designed for those coming in to the academy from other industries, this session will explore the culture of higher education, why things happen as they do, and current challenges confronting colleges and universities. Deans, directors, vice presidents, and presidents are encouraged to attend.
Leading Your Institution in a 24-Hour News Cycle: What Presidents Need to Know

Leadership Network on International Education

ACE Fellows Program: The Proven Path to Leadership
The nomination/application deadline for the 2009–10 cohort is November 1, 2008.
ACE Fellows spend up to a year on another campus being mentored by the president and other senior leaders, observing leadership in action, and contributing solutions to campus challenges. ACE Fellows become part of a national network of prestigious alumni/ae leaders in higher education.
