Nestled among the serene buttes of Papago Park, the Desert Botanical Garden showcases a diverse collection of succulent cacti and endangered plant species that are unique and indigenous to the Southwest. Founded in 1929, the Heard Museum is known today for its extensive collection of Native American artifacts, fine art and unique exhibits including Native People of the Southwest and the Kachina Doll Gallery.
