Who should attend?
This meeting is designed for the senior leadership team: presidents, chancellors, chief academic officers, vice presidents, presidential assistants, chief government relations officers, chief diversity officers, etc.

Do you offer one day registration?
No, registration is a package for the entire meeting.
How long does it take to receive registration confirmation notification?
If you register online, an e-mail confirmation will be sent within five minutes. If you register by mail or fax, you will receive a mailed registration confirmation within two weeks.
What is included in the registration fees?
Your registration fee covers plenary sessions, concurrent sessions, workshops and entrance to the ACE Executive Campus. Also included are coffee and refreshment breaks, the opening dinner, Monday and Tuesday luncheons, Monday afternoon entertainment and most receptions. These events are not deductible from the registration fee. Additional meal tickets may be purchased onsite.
Are there registration deadlines?
January 8, 2010, for Early Bird Deadline
February 15, 2010, for Pre-registration Deadline
How do I find out if my institution is a member of ACE?
You may check your institution’s membership status on the ACE web site: http://www.acenet.edu/resources/memberdirectory.
Can my spouse or companion attend the meeting?
Yes, there is a $475 charge for a spouse/companion. You can add the spouse/companion onto your pre-registration or at the Annual Meeting. Your spouse/companion can attend the entire meeting as any other registered attendee.
Is there a discount for additional attendees from our institution?
Yes, when one or more attendees register at the same time, the additional attendee(s) will receive $50 off the registration fees. The discount only applies to the ACE Annual Meeting. Additional member registrants must be from the same organization and register at the same time. The discount does not apply to spouses/companions, current ACE Fellows, or recent former ACE Fellows.
How do members of the press register?
Registration for members of the press is complimentary. Please contact ACE's Public Affairs Office at (202) 939-9365.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations received after February 15, 2010, and no-shows are not eligible for refunds. Requests may be submitted via e-mail to annualmeeting@ace.nche.edu, via fax to (202) 833-5692, or via mail to Meeting Services Department, Attn: Registration Cancellation, American Council on Education, One Dupont Circle, NW, Washington, DC 20036.
When will I receive a refund if I cancel?
Requests for refunds are due by February 15, 2010. Refunds will be issued within 30 days after the meeting's conclusion.

Do you provide special assistance for persons with physical limitations?
Please list any disability-related accommodations necessary on the registration form or contact the ACE Meeting Services office at (202) 939-9410.
Is the conference videotaped or recorded?
Nearly every programmatic session during the Annual Meeting will be recorded. CDs will be available for purchase onsite and afterward by mail.
When will I receive my program book and badge?
You will receive your badge and program book when you check in at the meeting registration desk.
What type of clothing is appropriate?
Most attendees wear business or business casual attire to the meeting and events. Meeting room temperatures are kept at 68 degrees.
Are there any concurrent sessions of international interest?
Yes, there will be several concurrent sessions of international interest. Please see the schedule for details.
Which day is the Opening Plenary?
The Opening Plenary and Reception will be held on Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
Can I attend events for presidents and chancellors even if I’m not one?
These events are exclusive to presidents, chancellors and their spouses. Others may attend by invitation only.
What are the pre- or post-conference activities?
What are the special events and are there any additional fees?
