DeGioia Moderates Baum and Carnevale at ACE2017

John J. DeGioia, president of Georgetown University (DC), moderated a conversation at ACE2017 between Sandy Baum, senior fellow at the Urban Institute, and Anthony P. Carnevale, director of Georgetown’s Center on Education & the Workforce. The March 13 session focused on the economic and non-economic purposes of a postsecondary education, and how to re-engage society in the discussion.

Joi Ito, Director of the MIT Media Lab, Speaks at ACE2017

Joichi “Joi” Ito, an internationally prominent activist, entrepreneur and venture capitalist, delivered the keynote speech at the ACE2017 Monday luncheon plenary session on innovation. Ito, the director of the MIT Media Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is currently exploring how radical new approaches to science and technology can transform and improve society.
